I aint been smoking anything. I’m talking about in the UK, we don’t pay for the events,it’s watched by millions, so there is no need to create interest over here. There is no conspiracy. Bisping’s record speaks for itself. Yeah, he got done by Henderson,but Henderson is a monster and a legend so I think he can be forgiven.
All the UFC’s have been free? What have you been smoking? It’s about 50 dollars on pay-per-view for every event. My point is that the Brits chosen were suppossed to be a little better than the Americans chosen to create interest in the UK. MMA is not as big across the pond yet. How many Brits are in the UFC? Not many. And the 1 star Brit in the UFC got KTFO. Henderson made Bisping look like it was his first time in an MMA match.
Plus, all the ufc’s have been free up until now I believe. I’ve never personally payed for one. Sorry,mate, ya boys just got done. I don’t mean that direspectfully (there are enough twats on here talking shit) I just mean ya boys weren’t up to it this time.
Mate, do you honestly think the Americans were get white-washed in that show? Anyone can get knocked out in a fight, you can’t set that up unless you bribe guys to take a dive. All the guys on that show were there to get a contract.End of. The audience is already there in the U.K. No conspiracies,mate.
Think about it. White just signed a deal with ESPN in the UK. UFC 105 is being held in the UK AND is being shown for FREE on tv. Did the whole UK vs USA thing to generate interest. You think it would be near as intersting for the USA to run the table on the Brits? And he has been pumping up Bisping like the next best thing since sliced bread. He is trying to get that UK audience.

With all due respect,mate, that is crap. There are better fighters in the UK who are better than the boys that were on that show. It was an even keel at the end of the day, not some staged event to help the UFC break in to the UK market. All their shows have been sells outs.
England has decent fighters.. but that show was a ploy. The UFC is trying to break into the UK. They mismatched them on purpose to get the UK interested and have it take off there. It’s no secret they are working hard to pull in the UK audience. They could have put a lot better American fighters on that show. It’s no conicidence UFC 105 is being held in England.

bisping isn’t even in the top ranks, he couldn’t beat dan henderson and he’s kind of the gate keeper to the top level fighters…

The ultimate fighter US vs UK proved nothing. These guys still have a long road to UFC stardom. Once the UK has someone other than Bisping in the top ranks, then we’ll see. UF is hit or miss seasons. Its a freaking TV show, not a real comp.

Olympic Wrestling….Greco or freestyle. Boxing is shit, boxing for MMA is something different. Bisping is tough, but he would be a lot better if he had a wrestling coach. Train in different disciplines like St Pierre.

But then again we have many wrestling styles like Cornish wrestling(similar to Judo) Scottish back hold wrestling(similar to Greco Roman wrestling). So much more than you think
